Khristopher J. Brooks

During my junior year at Central Michigan, I thought I was a hot-shot reporter. My stories were published on the front page of Central Michigan Life and I was also an intern at the Lansing State Journal, writing metro stories. After my Lansing internship, I began writing features for the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun. I graduated from Central Michigan in 2006 and went on to become an intern for the Associated Press in Kentucky.  I’m very glad I worked there because it prepared me for my job as a reporter at the Omaha World-Herald, which is where I reported before entering graduate school at NYU.
